The Carcross Summit: “Destination Carcross”
will be held on October 24, 2003
at Mt. McIntyre Rec. Centre in Whitehorse
from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

The purpose of the Summit is to develop a collective vision for sustainable tourism in the Carcross area and to secure a commitment to action from all stakeholders to make that vision a reality.

WP&YR and CTFN are inviting all interested stakeholders to join them in this working session to address business development opportunities with an agenda that will include visioning, identification of problems and opportunities and action planning.

 


Lunch will be provided and will be a productive time for facilitators to update the group and prepare for concurrent sessions in the afternoon.
Key issues are likely to include: infrastructure, partnering, market development, product development and human resource development.
Identify your interest early and help shape the agenda! Registered participants will be asked to provide as much information as possible in advance of the Summit in order to develop a resource book for all participants’ use in the working sessions.
